SFI is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to extending the life of valuable medical and research equipment through responsible international transfer and collaboration.
We believe that access to quality healthcare, scientific research, and education should not be limited by geography or financial resources. Every year, thousands of fully functional medical and research devices are replaced despite having many years of useful service ahead of them. Our mission is to ensure that this equipment continues creating value where it is needed most.
Working with hospitals, clinics, universities, laboratories, manufacturers, distributors, and logistics partners around the world, we coordinate the complete transfer process-from equipment registration and recipient matching to documentation, transportation, and final delivery.
Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, SFI operates through an international network of representatives and partners who identify available equipment, coordinate logistics, and build long-term partnerships with healthcare providers, universities, and research institutions across developing countries and underserved regions.
